The One Way You Should Never Respond to Your Children|How to Fix My Child Talks Too Much Syndrome

Mom! Mom? MoooooM?!?!?!

Do you hear that every day like I do? Do you find yourself thinking…my child talks too much…

Do you also start off your day gazing lovingly at your little blessings and answering with a kind tone. But by the end of the day and the 700th “Mom!” you are ready to:

1. Tell your kids to stop calling you that.
2. Change your name.
3. Never tell your children your new name.

How To Look Stylish But Feel Casual

May 5, 2017

I’m one of those women who likes to “Look Presentable Always” (If you haven’t read this book yet, pick it up, it’s a winner, and it goes way more in depth into the concept of looking presentable always). In other words, I like to look stylish, no matter what I am doing.

How Look stylish and put together, no matter what kind of day you are having! Mom Style| Mom Style Stay At Home

On the days when I’m not presentable, it never fails, someone will drop by unannounced, and I will squirm uncomfortably while trying to appear that I don’t mind being caught with no makeup and ratty, comfy clothes.

But I do mind. I mind a LOT! I like to always put my best foot forward. I like to be prepared for whatever or whomever the day brings. I like to conquer my monumental to-do list looking my best.

Five Quick Ways to Feel More Beautiful

May 3, 2017

When I need a quick beauty boost in the afternoon, I pick one or two of these tips! I feel more beautiful in no time!

Last Friday I felt like I had been run over by a herd of sweaty elephants. I was sore from too much exercise, frazzled from finagling feisty toddlers, and my morning makeup had long ago smudged and smeared off of my face, doing more harm than good.

If you are a mom of little ones, or if you are just in a busy season of life, I’m sure that you can identify with this feeling. And why is it that when the afternoon rolls around, more often than not, I’m feeling anything but beautiful?!?

I am one of those women who is happiest and most efficient if I feel pretty. Even if I am planning to go organize the attic or garden, I want to look cute. So having a daily afternoon beauty crisis just doesn’t synch up with my priorities.

I’ve figured out a few quick ways that I can refresh myself without having to commit to re-doing my entire beauty routine. Some days, I will just choose one, other days, I run through everything. It depends on how big of a boost I need, and the extra time that I have available.

How To Be A Happy Housewife: Love What You Must Do

April 26, 2017

Ever have one of those days where the house is a disaster and nothing is going as planned? Me too! This is how I change my mindset and take back control of my housework.|motherhood|housekeeping

Are you having trouble feeling motivated to get up and do your housework and mothering tasks all over again? So much of motherhood and housewifery involves the same tasks over and over again, with little to show for your efforts at the end of the day.

The same thing goes for housework. You wash a full sink of dishes after breakfast, but then it just fills up again after lunch and dinner. There’s hardly time to enjoy the results before those results are undone!

The tasks of motherhood and housekeeping can wear on you like a dripping faucet unless you make sure to get your head on straight.

How To Make the Korean Skincare Routine Easy: For Tired Moms

April 20, 2017

For years, probably close to a decade, I struggled with getting my face cleansed and moisturized before I went to bed. I knew the old saying “for every night you go to sleep with your makeup on, it ages you 26 days”. But at the end of every day, I was just.too.tired.

The last thing that I wanted to do each night was stand in front of my bathroom sink for an additional 15 minutes to properly care for my skin.
